Hi Everyone, I have always been turned down at this site as I have never got my answere here. I hope I could get it this time. I have a small problem. If anyone could help me figure out how to "paste" text in other application using java. I know how to copy it on the system clipboard using Clipboard method. I also know how to paste in textarea or textfield or java enabled component. I dont know how to paste in other application like word or microsoft outlook using a jbutton or something like that. I am really looking forward for an answer. Thanks, Riddhi.
Hi Riddhi, Thanks for your post. I must mention that I love JavaRanch because people here spend a lot of time and effort trying to answer questions, even though they are not obligated to.

This cannot be true because 12 of your past 16 posts have been replied and you have acknowleged many of them. Also, in one of your earlier posts, you mention that "This site proved very helpful in clearing Java Certification and landed me up with a Job". Also, please be specific in your topics. Almost all of your posts have "Need some help". This might turn away people who may not look into your post even if they have any answer to your questions. Now, coming to your question, I think you want to control the paste mechanism of external application from a java app. You may need to use something like Java-COM bridge (http://danadler.com/jacob/) Hope that helps.
