I have built a JTable on a JScrollPane inside a
JDialog. My problem is that when the data is build the JDialog grey until I run the mouse over it. Then the data that was loaded will appear.
Any ideas?

Try calling revalidate() and then repaint() on your JScrollPane right after you display it.
