I've implemented a simple JProgressBar in an applet but it doesn't display correctly for me. I click the button, and see the popup show, but it never actually shows the progress happening. Can anybody help me here?

Check out How to use Timers in the Java Tutorial... your progress monitor isn't updating because your for loop in the LoadImages() method is holding the event processing thread.
