Hi ranchers,
First of all - I'm new and very impressed about this fantastic site!
I'm also quite new to Swing and trying to get get some help.
Here it goes:
To create a help-window for an application I have 2 Panels, Jlist on the left and EditorPane on the right. On the left there're the topics and on the right should be displayed more help information about the selected topic. I get the selected value with a ListSelectionListener but I have no idea, how I can change the value from the EditorPane referring to the selected topic. Or should I rather use JTextField???
(How is the help-window from Netbeans made?)
cheers, erv

Check out JavaHelp... most of what you want (and more) has already been done there....
