problem in component refreshing

hi, I have two frames. i have refresh the value of Jlabel (belong to first frame) while doing some operation in second frame, i have to refresh the value of jlabel in first frame, how can i do that. jlabel value is static variable.

This is try number three for this question. Check out this example:

Simple, right? I couldn't make the JLabel static since I was displaying the same frame twice, but the principal is the same. If this doesn't answer your question, you will have to give us some more information about your particular situation (i.e. some source code).
