Hello,
The first time the JFrame comes to live everything is in its place but if I go to another window and then back to my JFrame window the buttons have disappear. They are there and I can select them(though they are invisible) and they work.
Any clue?
Thanks.

It is difficult to say...Could you post some code?
It could also be a hardware issue. Is your pc lacking umphh?

Thanks.
I have solved the problem by solving the constant repaint issue I posted in a different thread.
Thanks.

Just make sure you call super.paint(g) in your paint() method...that'll fix it.
