In swing appletwindow, i will take 1 panel in west side of borderlayout. i will add 1 label in west side panel.
now when i click that label of west side i want another new panel or any component in center of window.

I recommend you to read The Java Tutorial
By the way, does it need to be a label? labels do not spawn most of the events we are accustumed to.
