How to set the selected index as first visible index in JComboBox?

jb.setSelectedIndex(Your Position);

What I meant was that if I have a JComboBox displaying Names and if I press S from Key board then the selected name starting with S is shown as the last visible index.I want the selected index to be the first visible index.
