Hi all,
I am stuck. I have had completed my project for a client using JFrame , JInternal Frame, JPanels. I have also used Awt components. All was well till I got into the section where the client can do searches on his saved data.
The part compose of JTabbedPane which in turn hold four JDialog. These JDialog have JTables (in JScrollPanes). On my system it is all working beautifully. And my is system is a mere 350hz Pentinum II.
The client system is either IBM 486 or Pentinum I.
The problem: The TabbedPane and the tables it hold in the middle area. THe JButtons and JTextFields in the Northern Panel... all kind of split / or chopped in horizantal line. Odd behavoiur...
What should I do?
I have made a AWT Table sort of using Label and TextFields which display dynamic data.
Please help

I would say just use swing and remove your awt; that might be your problem.

I removed the four cardlayouts from the four Panel classes. Each of these classes had a JTable and two Panels in a cardlayout. I had to recode them.
Now the application is working just fine.
I hope that others too benefit from my experience!
