Is there an easy way to determine if the value of a JSlider is increasing or decreasing? Or do I need a variable and determine whether the next value is < or > and do it that way?
Thanks.

You can overide the method:
JSlider.setValue(int)

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
