Hi!
Can we set any image (I mean image of any extension such as .bmp,.jpg,.ppm etc ) to ImageIcon .

Check out the first paragraph on this page: How to Use Icons. In the new j2se 1.5 there will be more types supported with the javax.imageio.ImageIO class.

Hi!
I have checked the formats supported by my j2se (which I am using) and its show that in both categories Reader and Writer it support Portable Pixmaps(ppm) format but when I use it as ImageIcon, its not showing the Image.
