Unsupported Color Conversion Request

I am getting an ImageFormatException "Unsupported Color Conversion Request" when I try to run a program that displays an image. The image was created in Photoshop (I believe in CMYK). What does this message mean, and what can I do about it?

Thanks for any help!

What kind of image is it? What extension?

Just for the heck of it, I had our design guy use RGB rather than CMYKj on the image, and it worked??

So, I guess I'm OK.

But I'm still a bit curious why it made a difference if the image was created with CMYK colors.

Any ideas?
