I need JTextField with hint list: when user types letters into text field, the panel containing possible options appears below. The same idea is used in every
IDE
(e.g. listing all possible class methods). Is there any such component in Swing?

There is not such a component in Swing. You would have to make one yourself or find one someone else has custom built.
