Hello

I have a a problem in drag n drop
I have a JTree that displays data from an oracle database
I need to drag and drop items from the tree to a JTextArea.
I am new to drag and drop, any help would be appreciated.

The java tutorial has a page on How to Use Drag and Drop and Data Transfer. It shows how to enable drag and copy on a JTree. Do you need to remove the node from the tree?

I dont want to remove the node from the tree, but i want to expand the nodes into subtrees, and be able to Drag the contents of the nodes in the database directly from the JTree to the JTextArea.

Thanks,
Joe
