I have written a program that pops up a box and plays a sound at a user specified time. I would also like to have the applications taskbar button blink, similiar to what msn messenger does. Is there any way to do this in
Java
?

Thanks I'll have to give that a try tonight. I also found this

under the Native user alerts for windows section. It looks like it is possible using JNI.
