Some of you may remember that a few months ago I ran a survey about people's habits in replying to messages here at the Ranch. This survey was part of a course I am currently studying, and all the responses were very helpful and useful. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to respond.

I have now reached the stage where I have produced a prototype of a possible improvement to how replies are handled. But I need some real Java Ranch users to take a look at it, do a few very simple tasks, and let me know how you got on.

I would really appreciate anyone who is willing to spend a short amount of time (probably less than 30 minutes) evaluating my interface prototype.

I like to think that a process of involving real users in decisions about how to move the JavaRanch forward will result in a better and more useful site for all of us, so I encourage you to take a look.

The evaluation instructions can be found at http://efficacy.s42.eatj.com/m873/

Many thanks in advance to anyone who follows the steps and sends me their answers and comments.

Thanks to everyone who took a look, and especially to those who replied.

This trial is now officially finished, although I will leave the trial application running for a while just in case anyone else would like to take a look and let me know their opinions.

Thanks again.
