Hi all

I was wondering if there was anything out there that lets you just build a good looking GUI but lets you use Java for other forms of coding. I just dont like th look and feel that Java offers and I know there are skin L & Fs out there, but I am looking for something more.

Also any links to tutorials or articles on customising look and feels would help.

Thanks

Hi
The best tool to build Swing based GUI is Netbeans 5 beta or one of its Q builds , you can get it from
http://www.netbeans.org/downloads/index.html
Just select
NetBeans IDE 5.0 BETA, Mobility Pack and Profiler downloads
or simply click on the following link and download Netbeans suitable for your platform.

http://www.netbeans.info/downloads/download.php?type=5.0b

its new GUI builder is the best i have ever seen , it just remind me old age with Delphi forms

HTH

OK check this out.

Something called Haystack which is made using Semantic Web browser and apparently made using Java. The user interface it says is made over SWT. If so, how do you think they changed the SWT to look like that?
