Removing element from HTMLDocument

Hi!

How can I remove an Element from a HTML Document.

Here is the situation.

In some cases I want to remove the entire

<ul>
  <li>text</li>
  <li>
    text
  </li>
</ul>

and sometimes just the <li></li> element.

Is there anyone who has mastered this problem?

I have already tried the sample found at Javaranch remove
