eliminate the horizontal scroller and resize the panel correctly

Hi there,
I realize that some of my end-users set up their screens with a resolution of 800x600. Some of the panels in the dialog are not adjusted accordingly and resulting in vertical and horizontal scrollbars (well...it's OK to have the vertical scrollbar but the horizontal scroller is not good - I mean it exist but I would like to eliminate it).

So, there is one dialog with a 'main panel' and this panel has the scrollers. i tried to eliminate it with:

scroll.setHorizontalScrollBarPolicy(ScrollPaneConstants.HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR_NEVER);

it eliminated it but the panel are not adjusted correctly - meaning some labels/comboboxes are left out (you cannot see it). I would like to resize it...but how?

thanks
Peter
