One copy was retained in BA, but I deleted that copy too. Such behaviour makes me angry and if an email hadn't already been sent I would send one of my own.

IMHO, I don't think it matters. This account was created just to flood the ranch. I don't think any PM will be read. I don't any email will do anything. In fact, I don't even think the user will notice, if this account accounts get suspended.

The information is being posted by a marketing company on behalf of the conference. They leave the contact details for both.
