Problem Installer Creator....

Hi all...

I was create the java installer for my java apllication use Free Advanced Installer Creator 4.3 Version.That installer hold the jar,JRE,JMS and some Image files.But now raise the some one problem that installer installing time.If already installed JRE and JMS in the system i want eliminate the once again installing process. How to i will be identify this from system regsitry.
If Already installed JRE and JMS files i want Skipped that process from my installer.Otherwaise continue default process...

Please give me any idea for solve this process...

Well I am new to this installer concept but I guess I can give you some hint. May be you might be knowing this already. One way to find whether Java is installed on machine is by using System.getProperty(). By this you can query for the version of Java that is installed on machine. Second thing is you have to find out what entry it makes in the registry to find out whether the java is installed or not. May be in that case you need to use Preferences class to use the registry. Again I dont know whether I am close to it or not.

I got your replpy.i am very glad your reply. same time i have some probelm how to check system registry JRE and JMS intalled or not.Where is it i will write System.getPropertiy() method.... please give idea..
