simon game

I have to make a simon game. I have all the buttons and things made and I am pretty sure I have the timer made. The thing that I am hung on is that I have to show the sequence of colors in the center square. I have an arraylist that I basicly want to print there a element at a time but I am not sure how to do it. Any help would be appricated.
