Single API for both SWT and Swing?

I'm writing a swing applet. If I want to run the same functionality embedded in a eclipse plug in, do I have to rewrite it in SWT or has someone else written a wrapper for Swing and SWT so I only have to write it once?

There are some very shaky, beta-level, works-only-on-some-platforms solutions for mixing Swing and SWT. Unless it's very complex, the easiest and in any event most reliable thing to do would be to rewrite it.
