A Paint Application with Combo Boxes and Buttons

Good Day! I will like someone to help me out in making this code to function in the same pattern I have written it. I am stucked with the issue of changing from one shape to another by clicking on the named shape button. For example, if there is a rectangle shape already on the frame, I cannot draw another shape by clicking on another button to draw a circle. I will be happy to welcome any correction.

Although, I have not done any thing with the combo boxes in the code. I was only testing the buttons

These are complex things to put together. Here's some food for thought.
