to point a cursor into a particular column in Table

the scenario
When adding a new row in the table,the cursor should point to the particular column.Could you help me out with solution with example.?
I'm using Table Model Listener whereby when i double clicked the cursor will be there.

ok
as per you explained it if you want to point to a particular row of the table you must use a Object[][] data
as a argument to the table model and pass the data to table,you want to point to a particular row than data[i][j] in a for loop,than keep changing i & j value [0][0],[0][1] and so on.hope this may be helpful to you.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
