Our book does not address anything specific to Java FX. Java FX was not public yet at the time of the writing and it is still undergoing many profound changes so we thought it would not be wise to put anything about it in the book.

Even though Filthy Rich Clients pre-dated some of the JavaFX activity, a couple of Romain Guy's components (StackPanel layout component, and the InfiniteProgressPanel component) are in the JavaFX Script standard library.
