Topic I deleted; can be restored?

Hi,

I deleted a topic that I created a while ago because I thought that it is very similar to another topic, and looks like a duplicate.

However, I got notified by email that the topic was updated.

Therefore, somebody posted a reply, while I was trying to delete it.

Is it possible to restore a deleted topic? Or is it gone forever?
