i seen in previous questions they mentioned "tomcat" what is that

Prasad,
As I understand it, Tomcat is open-source Web server software from Apache. It implements the Java Servlet 2.2 and JSP 1.1 specifications. It is used along with application development environments, such as VisualAge for Java, for developing and debugging servlets and JSPs. Here is a URL with more information:
