Hi, folks;
just want to bring to attention to my question again.
I installed JDK1.3 and JSDK2.0 kit in my Windows NT 4.0 system.
I was able to set up the path in NT environment, but How can I set up the classpath.
I try to compile my first servlet under the directory
c:\>javac MyFirstServlet.java
The system gave the error msg:
unable to resolve the symbol: java.servlet.httpServlet:
unable to resolve the symbol: java.servlet.httpServletRequest, etc. something to that effect.
Can anybody shed lights on this? Any help will encourage me to go on further in this new area.

The same way you set up the path is the way you set up the classpath. The rule is that jar files must be explicitly listed in the classpath (classpath=c:\java\lib\rt.jar).
