Does Java 2 support SSL? The URL class constructor does not recognize "https" as valid. I assume from this that it does not support SSL.

I would be really really surprised that it doesn't.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
