You haven't mentioned anything about web server.
I'm using JDK 1.2.2 and Tomcat to compile and run JSP's and Servelts.
With JDK in c:\jdk1.2.2 and Tomcat in C:\jakarta-tomcat I have following system variables set :
TOMCAT_HOME = C:\jakarta-tomcat
JAVA_HOME = c:\jdk1.2.2
Hope this helps.

Hi,
i think you should use jrun by allaire for running servlets and jsp's. you can d/l jrun ver 3.0 which is free for developement.
it requires personal webserver or iis ver 4.0 or 5.0
