Servlets are for server side Java and Frames are for client-side Java. I don't see why anyone would like to generate a Frame from a Servlet. But if you do, please share...

I think the original poster is referring to HTML frames and framesets and not java.awt.Frame objects.
Have your servlet spit out the HTML needed to create the desired frame set layout. The technique would be to have the src attribute of each frame refer to a servlet and not a static file.
The browser would make the appropriate requests to your servlet(s).
