Sessions perfectly working in servletrunner but not on JRun. When I refresh 2-3 times they work. I am not able to carry session when I am using jrun but session work perfectly in servletrunner.
The actual scene is I get a null pointer error, which I worked out was due to the fact that the session is not recognised. if i refresh the screen a couple of times or re-run my application, then the servlet functions properly. sometimes i have to even stop and start JRun. to frustrate me further, it works at first go itself sometimes. the catch may be that i am using the free version of JRun that comes with the book by Karl Moss on Java Servlets.
But with servletrunner no problem. any leads? any help on this is highly appreciated. thanks
