Those two are hardly used at all (I've never seen them yet) and I do not think all webservers support them. doPut seems to be meant for things like uploading files, doDelete for deleting content from the server. for doDelete, you can probably better do a POST of the request to delete something, and for doPut a POST requesting to store the included data. Just my 2 eurocents
