Hi,
How can I trace the users, (in case of servlets) who is connected to the server?
Ex: in case of chat application how to find the users connected to server? How can the server will notified in case of session expiration.
Thanks,
Satya.

Well you need some way to track users, usually you add some Principal-type object to the HttpSession. You can make that user object implement a HttpListener interface to have it do things on session adding/removing which also happens to be a way of noticing a session expiring!
