There are lots of good books for servlets. What sort of book are you looking for? A servlets tutorial? a servlets reference? a reference for a particular servlet container? A book covering servlets and JSP? A book covering servlets and XML? A book on how to design enterprise middleware with examples in Java? You really need to think about what you need, there is no single best book.
Have you tried visiting amazon and doing a search on java (or whatever you are looking for) and reading the reviews? There usually is some good info there to help you make up you mind. best of luck [This message has been edited by Paul Wetzel (edited January 04, 2001).]
<shameless-plug>My book - see the sig - has a chapter entitled Servlets, JSP, and XML - both the DOM and SAX processing models are discussed and examples of both kinds of processing in a servlet are provided. </shameless-plug> Bill ------------------ author of:

It occurs to me that I should point out that the book I am talking about is the Developer's Guide to Servlets and JSP. The one that concentrates on XML will only become available later this month.
