My program is written to fetch the data from the database depending up on the search criteria given by the client. If a client is clicking on the submit button continuesly, with out giving time for retival then my webserver (javawebserver 2.0) is getting hanged.
how do i stop him from doing this. what could be the problem, is it with the code or with the server.

Hi,
You can restrict by using some variable in your code itself. consider the varible as flag kind. set and check the value in the button code.
I think it will become useful to you.
