Accessing a partucular field.

I have a HTML page wherein I accept a set of fields. If I use getParameterNames() method, values in all the fields are picked up. Is there any way, wherein I can pick up the value from a particular field using Servlets.
This is quite urgent. Would appreciate a fast response from all you people out there.
