how to run jsp?

How to run a jsp page in javawebserver? I have tryed
by saving the jsp page in Public_html directory ,After i started
javawebserver,After that in browser i have typed http:\\localhost:8080:FILENAME.JSP ,IT GIVES ME A ERROR SAYING THAT PAGE NOT FOUND.wHAT TO DO .please help me

check whether the file has been saved properly with jsp extension.

http:\\localhost:8080:FILENAME.JSP
I think changing this to
http:\\localhost:8080\FILENAME.JSP
will give solution.

Please also note that using backslashes '\' in URLs is extremely non-standard and probably won't work in most browsers.
Use
http://localhost:8080/filename.jsp
instead.
