tomcat error

i have installed the tomcat server at c:\jdk1.3 directory
but when i give this command at dos prompt it gives error that
you must set java_home to point at your JDK installation
the command i give at dos promt is:
c:\jdk1.3\jakarta-tomcat-3.2.1\bin tomcat start
this is my autoexec.bat file:
<b>LH C:\MYDOCU~1\FUNPRO~1\MAGICF~1\MF.EXE
LH C:\MAGICF~1\MF.EXE
@SET CLASSPATH=C:\PROGRA~1\PHOTOD~1.0\ADOBEC~1
PATH=C:\JDK1.3\BIN;C:\JDK1.3\LIB;C:\JDK1.3\INCLUDE;;C:\ORAWIN95\BIN
set CLASSPATH= C:\JDK1.3\LIB
set JAVA_HOME=c:\JDK1.3;
set TOMCAT_HOME=c:\JDK1.3\jakarta-tomcat-3.2.1;<b>
please help

You have to go to your :jakarta-tomcat-3.2.1\bin directory.
open the "tomcat" file in notepad.Search for the following paragraph:
rem ----- Save Environment Variables That May Change ------------------------
set _CP=%CP%
set _TOMCAT_HOME=%TOMCAT_HOME%
set _CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%
Add the following line: to the above.
set JAVA_HOME=C:\jdk1.3
Thats it.
