Swing with Servlets?

Hi All,
I want to call a Swing applet from a Servlet. But it is giving a ClassNotFoundError for javax.swing.JApplet. I did check the classpath a number of times but there doesn't seem to be any problem with it. Also the Swing applet works fine when invoked independently through the browser. It's only when I try yo call it thru the servlet that I get this problem.
Can anybody help please?
Thanks,
Mamta M

Why exactly are you trying to call an applet from a servlet? As long as you have the right version of Java (i.e. Java 2) on your server, you should be able to instantiate a Swing applet, but I really don't understand why you would want to do this.
