HOW DO JSP WORKS ?
I have windows 98, javawebserver1.1.3, jdk1.3, but as I run examples given in jws1.1.3 from the main page i.e. http://localhost:8080/file.jsp but after running the file the output is only html is showed, no jsp output is there.
WHY IS THAT SO.
WHAT JSP SETTINGs HAVE TO BE CONFIGURE ?
DO JSP require any other Specific Web Servers for windows 98.
WHAT SPECIFIC CLASSPATH SHOULD BE SET FOR RUNNING JSP?
DOES JSP FILE HAVE TO COMPILIED .
IF YES, THEN HOW AND WITH WHAT?
HELP ME!

"Raman",
The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp . We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please choose a new name which meets the requirements.
Thanks.
