This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
That's a feature, not a bug That's by design and I personally don't consider it a problem. The browser has not requested a new page so how can it have a different URL displayed? But response.sendRedirect() will actually tell the browser to requestanother page and as such will show up in the browser URL box.
