Hi,
How do I go abt passing variables from page to page (every page) without storing it in HttpSession and not via request.setAttribute/request.setParameter - pretty tedious? I can't store it the session because I need to access the variable when the session times out.
Thanx in advance.

You could use a class implementing the HttpSessionBindingListener interface to hold all of your parameter values. In the valueUnboud method, just rebind the object back into the session. This is how you can get around the session timeout. Hope this helps.
