hi friends
I wanted to know how do i show a particular page in JSP for some seconds and then forward it to another page

you can do it with the help os sessions.
use the session.settimeout() property specifying
the no.of milliseconds after which u will go to
the next page.

If the session times out, does it reload/redirect the page?
Are you sure it works like that?
Doesn't the client side need to make a request to reload the page?
Another way you can do this is with the HTML meta tag refresh property. You can dynamically generate this tag to meet your specific needs.
