I am getting this error in some of my programs. I am using Websphere Application Server inorder to run my JSP's .

That means exactly what it says. You have been writing to an output stream buffer that got flushed. Therefore trying to clear it results in an error. A possible fix is to set the size of the buffer higher than the default. This can be done in your page tag:
