open source projects. Any experience ?

Hi,
Could anyone share information about places to
join OS project, especially with servlets, jsp's, xml
ejb's and this kind of stuff.
I know about sourceforge.net
asynchrony.com, sourcexchange.com but these do not
fit.
I have tried to join some there but was refused since do
not have solid java experience.
Can you share your experience.

You can join our group at [e-mail] We are working on several open-source projects which you can join, or you can initiate a project of your own liking. We don't expect you to be a java expert but you must have some programming experience and should preferably be and SCJP.
