Hi guys,
While trying to compile my servlet using tomcat: iam getting the following error:
cannot read: Helloworld.java.

You have to climb to the directory where thr HelloWorld.java source resides and try compiling from there.

yes ,i did .
my helloworld is in c:\raji;
and iam compiling from there as
c:\raji\serve\helloworld.java
but there is an error
cannot read helloworld.java

If your HelloWorld is in c:/raji, why are you trying to compile from c:/raji/server/. May be can try from c:/raji.

Sorry,my helloworld is in c:\raji\serve;
and iam compiling from there only.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
