Hi all !

Can anyone suggest a good connection pool that is easy to use/configure. I want to use it in a real heavy duty web application using servlets and jsps.
Regards

I'm not sure if this w'd be robust enough for your application
but there's a fully functional connection pool code available in Professional Java server programming book (Wrox) usder the connection pool title. You can probably use that
or check this out..it's nearly the same:

Hi
If you are talking HEAVY DUTY web pages/site then I suggest invest the money in WebLogic or Websphere or something like that. Failing to have the money for this type of product then I also suggest Resin at http://www.caucho.com
They have great connection pooling, load balancing and the servlet runner (engine) is incredibly fast.

SOURCE CODE should be SURROUNDED by "code" tags.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
