hi, when one makes a .shtml file, the java web server can identify it by its extension .shtml. but how does one create a response from a servlet that has <servlet> tag in it and let it have the same functionality as a .shtml file. the point is that in this case there is no file extension like .shtml which the web server can identify. kindly help me!
